for Better Eye Health
There are approximately 253 million people worldwide who are either blinded or visually impaired, with around 89% of them living in resource-limited conditions. EYELIKE facilitates task-shifting of part of ophthalmologists' roles to already-existing healthcare workers in the community, enabling more effective operations in resource-limited environments. As diagnoses and information accumulation occur in the community, the platform can connect patients in need, local service providers, and donors worldwide.

Stories from the Field

Patient A
I was experiencing some uncomfortable feeling in my eyes, and I decided to change my eye-glasses. But it did not solve the problem even after 11 pairs of glasses. Then I came to Sitapur Eye Hospital and got my eye checked up with EYELIKE Device. From the exam, I came to know that I have a retina problem. The laser treatment was provided by the hospital, and I felt much better.

Patient B
I want to acknowledge the thanks to Sitapur Eye Hospital (Pihani Center) for letting me know the actual condition of my eyes by EYELIKE device not to mention the benefits of the treatment done there. The vision is improved.

Optometrist A
I am going to tell you about the EYELIKE fundus device and how the device is useful and beneficial for patients in rural areas. I went to the camp sites and helped patients to get their fundus screening with the EYELIKE device. I really enjoy using the EYELIKE device because it is portable and easy to use while the image quality is very good.

Optometrist B
Life without light is hard to imagine. We will work step by step with LabSD to provide fundus screen to the people who cannot afford it in far flung villages with the EYELIKE Device and save their sight by treating them before it is too late. May the light be saved one step ahead of the darkness.
